Teachers

"Terror, strict, peevish but kind." These were the words I often here from the students when they are describing her.     When I entered here in Batanes State College, She is the one I met first. I impressed on her being kind and friendly teacher. From then on, I started to dream that this teacher will become friend of mine.     As classes started and goes on, I discovered much her attitudes. I found out that students are wrong in describing her. In fact, she is good and kind to every students although she is sometimes "mataray." But this attitude doesn't affect her being kind.    That are teachers.    Teachers served as the second mother of everyone. They are the one nourishes our personality, gives additional knowledge and helps us to discover many things. They advises us in decision we are going to do.    Teachers is our best friend also. They are ready to help students whenever they need help. They comforted us in times of trials and help us to un

Reporting

Image
Have you ever had to speak in front of your class- perhaps to give a report- and you got real nervous?     Many students have this problem. In fact, the fear of speaking in front of a group is one of the worst fears people have. When I was in high school, I was terrified of speaking in front of the class. I would tremble and my mouth would fill with saliva. The only way I could effectively give a presentation was to sit in a chair when I was in front of the class. My teacher in English frowned on this and thought I was just trying to be different or difficult. Honestly speaking, I hate reporting very much. But I can't avoid it especially it's a part of our study.     But later on, I learned to have confidence when speaking in front of a group. Sure, there was a little nervousness, but still was able to speak without fear. The ways to be able to speak to your class with confidence are to realize the purpose, not to impress your teachers or classmates but to deliver a repor

Priority

Image
Knowing your priorities in life helps you make decision well. But one question to be asked, what should be the first thing a student should prioritize, studies or love life?      As we can see many students prioritize more their love life than studies. They sacrifice their class just to have a date. And of course, as a result, many of them lost in the right track. Not just many of them, but most of them. Many says that love life with studies inspire you to a better. But it is not what we expected.       On the other hand, although many teenagers do the same things, many of them prioritize first what they think is right.       We should prioritize first our study in order to have a better future. Love can waits but not our future. So think over and over again. Love or Studies?

BSED as my course

Choosing a profession is not an easy decision. You should think it over and over again.  But me, I'd never thought that the course that I will going to pursue is Education. Because teaching is not my passion. I hate teaching students and I'd never dream to teach students.    But here I am, pursuing college in a course of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. That's not meant that I love teaching already. It's just a choice that I made for the sake of my future and of course, my family.    Why Education?? Because it’s in demand. Why I say so? Because after you graduated, you can get job already although you didn't pass or you pass in the board/ license for teacher. In this way, I can help my family in financial problem.    I know that, it's too difficult to pursue a course which is not desire of your heart. But I need to do.    So, you must think hundred times in what course you are going to pursue for you not to regret soon. And of course, be
